Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of improving the traffic to your website via search engines.  Web Widgets offer a standard Search Engine Optimisation service which aims to include your website listing for relevant keyword searches on search engines. This can make a real difference to customers being able to find your business via a search engine. Search Engine Optimisation can be done at any stage, eg. before your website has been launched, or even if your site has been live for some time.

A Search Engine Optimised website is more likely to be included in the keyword search results of search engines. Web Widgets guarantee that an optimised webpage will be included within the search results for the exact keyphrase it has been optimised for, within Google's standard indexing lag time. 

We guarantee to maintain or improve the search result position for the exact keyphrase within 2 months (except where the keyphrase starting position is already listed in the top six).  If this is not the case, then we will give you your money back.  Our aim is to ensure your chosen pages are included or improved in the search results that are relevant to the keywords. We do not guarantee any specific position.

Our standard SEO fee is $500 +gst  

This fee is for search engine optimisation of 5 key phrases, over 5 web pages. SEO works best when targeting a different key phrase for each page. Web Widgets provides basic industry standard SEO recommendations, which involves the writing (or rewriting) of your page title, opening paragraph, meta title, meta description and keywords, utilising your keyphrases according to SEO best practice methods. Any visual changes are communicated to you for confirmation before making them live on your website.  

To proceed with your SEO request, consider which key phrases searchers might type into a search engine, in order to have your website featured in search results.  For example, if you have a domestic travel website, your searchers might type the keyphrase “cheap flights Dunedin”.  Please complete the SEO request form below, which requests a list of keyphrases you think searchers would type into Google in order to find your website.  We may suggest alternatives to you.

Here are some hints to compile your key phrase list:

• Put yourself in your customer’s shoes.
• Think about the product or service keyphrases you would enter in a search engine to find a business "like yours". 
• Use keyphrases that exactly describe your business. 
• Be as specific as you can and avoid generic keywords (eg. your domestic travel website using the keyword “travel” is completely ineffective).
